Board Packets For Members?
QUESTION:  Do owners have the right to board packets so they can follow along during the meeting?

ANSWER: The Open Meeting Act gives owners the right to meeting agendas but not to to board packets. Information distributed to the board of directors frequently consists of member correspondence, bid proposals, personnel issues, delinquencies, etc., all of which are protected under various privacy rights and executive session privileges.
