Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act

The Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act (UCIOA) is a comprehensive act that governs the formation, management, and termination of a common-interest community. It is meant to serve as a model statute that states can use to base their own common interest provisions.

It was prepared by the Uniform Law Commissioners in 1982 and amended in 1994.
