QUESTION: Isn't it illegal for our manager to also sell real estate in our associations?

ANSWER: There is nothing "illegal" for a manager to list and sell real estate in your development. However, it creates significant potential conflicts of interest whenever managers market property in the communities they manage. Boards should hire managers who focus their entire attention on managing the association.
