Board Resolution
for CAI-CLAC Contribution
Whereas, the ____________ Association has been established to serve the best interests of our members; and
Whereas, the Community Associations Institute's California Legislative Action Committee (CAI-CLAC) represents the interests of community associations in California, sponsors legislation which benefit community associations and their members, and distributes information to community associations about legislative issues; and
Whereas, Association members benefit from CAI-CLAC's advocacy efforts; and
Whereas, contributing to CAI-CLAC will not affect the association’s nonprofit tax status;
Therefore, it is resolved the Association shall make an annual contribution to CAI-CLAC, in the amount of $ _______, which shall be included in the Association's budget.
