Following is a flow chart showing the steps to follow when someone requests an emotional support animal that violates the association's restrictions on the number, size or type of animals that members can own.
CAUTION: This is a generic chart. The laws related to emotional support animals can change unexpectedly and/or the particular circumstance of a request could deviate from the chart. Whenever a resident makes a request for a service animal or comfort animal, boards should immediately contact legal counsel.
