Legal Practice. Karen is drawn to community association law because it touches on the personal, economic and societal aspects of our lives as neighbors, community members and Californians. Karen is an experienced HOA attorney working with boards of directors on election disputes, rules violations, fiduciary duties, amending governing documents, nuisance complaints, and mediation. Prior to joining Adams Stirling she gained solid litigation experience with personal injury claims, complex tort actions, premises liability, toxic torts, and nonjudicial foreclosures.
Ms. St. Onge serves as the Liaison between the Community Association Institute (CAI) California Legislative Advocacy Committee and the Bay Area and Central Valley Chapter to help engage her community in advocacy efforts in Sacramento for common sense HOA laws. She also volunteers as a speaker and writer for CAI, the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and the Education Community for Homeowners (ECHO).
