WORKPLACE SECONDHAND SMOKE

Starting January 1, 2007, associations with employees must protect their employees from secondhand smoke by prohibiting smoking in all enclosed spaces in the workplace. This includes lobbies, lounges, waiting areas, elevators, stairwells, and restrooms. (Labor Code §6404.5.)
