JAMIE A. WILLIAMS, ESQ

Jamie represents commercial, residential, and mixed-use associations in all matters, including compliance with the Davis-Stirling Act, drafting, interpretation, and enforcement of governing documents, advising association boards of directors on day-to-day operations, elections, association management and personnel, land use issues, and homeowner dispute resolution. Before joining Adams-Stirling, Jamie was a sole practitioner managing her firm in San Diego. Jamie also served San Diego County as a Deputy District Attorney, handling misdemeanor trials, sentencing, felony preliminary hearings, and witness relations in the Victim-Witness Assistance Program.

Board of Directors, Condominium Homeowners Association. Jamie served for three years as Vice-President and Chair of the Legal Committee of her condominium homeowners association, providing her first-hand experience working with management, personnel, contractors and vendors, the association’s General Counsel and Land Use Attorney, city officials and managers, property developers, insurance providers, association members, and neighboring community homeowners.

Family Law. Jamie’s family law practice included representing clients in order-to-show-cause hearings, trials, mediation, and settlements for dissolution (divorce), child custody, child support, spousal support, property rights, domestic violence, adoptions,and guardianship.

Business & Banking Law. Jamie negotiated and drafted contracts and settlement agreements for business clients and performed due diligence related to real property purchases, sales, and loans. Jamie also represented the FDIC in banking and debtor loan work-out agreements.

Civil, Criminal & Personal Injury Litigation. Jamie’s practice included representing clients in misdemeanor criminal cases and plaintiffs in high-profile sexual battery and personal injury cases in the employment and healthcare industry.
