FARAH NOURMAND, ESQ
Before joining our firm, Farah spent many years overseeing a boutique law firm that specialized in real estate, employment law, business, and general civil litigation. Since being with the firm, Farah has served as general counsel to common interest developments, including planned communities, large condominium projects, and highrise developments. The majority of her practice involves interpreting, amending, and enforcing governing documents, advising boards on compliance matters, addressing insurance issues, negotiating and drafting contracts and other agreements, and dispute resolution.
Corporate & Litigation Counsel. Farah's litigation practice included mediations, settlements, law and motion, eviction proceedings, and trials. On the transactional side, Farah oversaw day-to-day legal affairs as in-house counsel, negotiated and drafted commercial leases, determined property rights, conducted legal seminars, and performed due diligence related to purchases and sales.
Employment Law. Farah's employment law practice included preparing company policies, employee handbooks, and other employment-related documents. In addition, she advised clients on wage-and-hour claims and employee risk management.
Homeowner Associations. Farah also has practical experience with homeowner associations, having served as the president of her own condominium association for many years.
Industry Activities. Farah is a current member of the CAI – GLAC Legislative Support Committee and the CLAC Governance Task Force.
