NANCY I. SIDORUK, ESQ.
Legal Practice. Nancy provides legal counsel to residential and commercial common interest developments (CIDs). She assists boards of directors with association governance, from applying the Davis-Stirling and Commercial CID Acts to document analysis, revision, and enforcement. Nancy also advises on director responsibilities and conflict management, meetings and elections, and other transactional matters.
Educator & Advocate. Nancy has dedicated much of her career to educating association managers and volunteers, advocating for positive legislation on behalf of community associations, and offering her time and leadership skills to professional organizations. At the national level, she served on the Community Associations Institute (CAI) National Case Law Update Team, researching, analyzing, and summarizing the country’s most significant community association law cases. Nancy is a past-President of the CAI Greater Inland Empire Chapter and former Delegate to the CAI California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC), for which she served on the Legislative Strategy and Research Committee. Nancy is a well-received speaker, author, and mentor to association managers, business partners, and volunteers seeking involvement in legislative advocacy and the CID industry. In addition, Nancy has been an adjunct professor of paralegal studies and practiced criminal and personal injury law. She brings a breadth of pertinent business experience, not only directly involving community associations but also with geographic information systems. For more than thirty years, she has been a frequent volunteer on nonprofit committees and boards.
