SHANA LATHROP, ESQ. 

Prior Experience. 

Shana is a transactional attorney whose practice focuses on corporate governance, real estate, contracts, and providing practical legal counsel to businesses and their leadership. She is known for delivering practical, business-oriented solutions that help clients minimize risk, maintain compliance, and make informed decisions.

Shana has extensive experience advising public and privately held companies on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. Her practice has included corporate governance, board and shareholder matters, mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory compliance, securities matters, and general business counseling. She has also assisted clients with a variety of real estate matters, including drafting easements and other real property agreements.

Shana applies her corporate governance and transactional background to assisting homeowners' associations with the legal issues they encounter throughout the lifecycle of a community. Her practice includes governing document interpretation and amendments, contracts, board and membership meeting matters, elections, corporate governance, demand letters, and other transactional and operational matters affecting community associations. Her experience advising corporate boards and management provides a strong foundation for helping association boards navigate their legal responsibilities with practical, solutions-oriented counsel.

Outside of her legal practice, Shana is an active real estate investor and property owner, giving her a practical appreciation for the legal and business issues associated with real estate ownership and management. She also founded a nonprofit organization dedicated to animal rescue, rehabilitation, advocacy, and adoption. She has a special place in her heart for Rottweilers.
