VALA ZARRABIAN, ESQ.
Prior Experience. Before joining the firm, Vala Zarrabian developed a background in real estate investment and operations, where she was involved in the management, leasing, and oversight of commercial properties. This experience, combined with her work supporting litigation matters, provides her with a practical understanding of the challenges faced by property owners and boards of directors. Since joining the firm, Vala has focused on advising common interest developments on governance, compliance, and operational matters, including interpreting and enforcing governing documents and assisting in the resolution of disputes.
Governance. Vala works with boards of directors on governance and compliance matters, including fiduciary duties, rule enforcement, contract issues, and day-to-day decision-making. She helps boards approach issues thoughtfully and in a manner consistent with their governing documents and legal obligations.
Real Estate & Business Experience. Vala’s background in real estate operations informs her understanding of leasing, property management, construction, and the financial considerations that impact community associations. This perspective allows her to evaluate legal issues with an appreciation for how decisions affect both operations and long-term asset value.
Dispute Resolution. Vala has experience supporting litigation and dispute resolution processes, including case development, negotiation, and settlement strategy. She has also completed formal mediation training, further supporting her ability to assist boards in resolving disputes efficiently and effectively.
