Townhome - Townhouse
A townhome or townhouse is a type of construction style for a building, not a form of ownership. Townhouses are horizontally attached house of houses with a "party wall" or "demising wall" separating each house. They often have two or more floors but no neighbors above or below the townhouse, only side-to-side. Townhouses can be condominium ownership (airspace) or single family homes where the person owns the structure (and perhaps the land or lot upon which the structure sits). Townhouses often come with small yards.
